What is the Flex Market Program?

MCE’s Peak Flex Market is a demand response (DR) program is aimed at reducing peak energy demand in the evenings to help make the grid more resilient. When California’s electrical grid is overwhelmed and electricity costs are high, MCE will pay its customers or aggregators working with local MCE customers, for shedding or shifting their energy consumption using clean energy strategies.
