San Francisco, CA – January 1, 2012 — AESC Inc. has been awarded follow-on task orders to provide support to Pacific Gas and Electric’s (PG&E’s) energy efficiency retrofit, retrocommissioning and demand response Pre- and Post-Sales Implementation Project Office for 2012. AESC will be providing engineering and technical services such as project technical review, savings calculation assistance, energy audits, customer system investigations, emerging technology evaluation, feasibility studies, site inspections, measurement & verification and implementation support for non-residential retrofit and new construction projects. AESC will provide these high-quality technical support services to PG&E and its in-house staff to successfully design and implement PG&E’s energy efficiency programs that would produce long-term energy and demand savings, and reduce barriers and provide incentives to implement energy efficient measures and to improve promising design practices and technologies.
PG&E’s energy efficiency programs support and encourage production of high performance energy-efficient design and construction. In addition, these programs support standards and codes enhancements for commercial, agricultural, industrial and residential customers. PG&E publishes and continuously expands information-based standard practices of energy efficient design and technologies, and provides training on topics relevant to market transformation.
