Funding plant upgrades with new U.S. Department of Energy ITAC Implementation Grants

ITAC-qualified Assessments from AESC can unlock $300K in federal funding grants, for each qualified installation, to decarbonize and modernize your small and medium manufacturing facilities and water and wastewater treatment plants. Join AESC for an informational webinar about the U.S. Department of Energy’s new ITAC Implementation Grant offering and ITAC-equivalent Assessments. Our speakers will discuss the funding opportunity and qualifications, the assessment process, and timelines.  Webinar broadcast January 25, 2024.

To be eligible to apply for ITAC Grants following IAC assessments, sites must be manufacturing facilities (or water or wastewater treatment plants) in the U.S. who have:

  • annual corporate gross sales less than $100 million
  • fewer than 500 employees at the assessed plant
  • annual site energy bills between $100,000 and $3.5 million at the assessed plant.

Funded by the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal, implementation grants can cover 50% of project implementation costs up to $300,000 per site for recommendations identified as part of an ITAC or ITAC-equivalent assessment that improve energy efficiency, productivity, material efficiency or cybersecurity.

AESC is a national energy engineering and consulting firm that has 30 years of industrial systems expertise and delivers hundreds of energy audits and assessments per year across diverse market sectors. Our comprehensive and unbiased energy assessments help facilities identify, prioritize and implement projects that reduce energy spend, improve productivity, and reduce GHG emissions.  Assessment reports identify viable projects, estimate energy savings and implementation costs, and identify available local, state and federal incentives and grants that can be leveraged to subsidize implementation and improve project financial feasibility.
