CARLSBAD, CA – August 25, 2014 — Alternative Energy Systems Consulting, Inc. (AESC), a trusted leading provider of high quality energy engineering and management services, has released their first web application that targets the mobile market.
Smart Solar Savings is a tool available to help users to estimate the variable costs and benefits of installing a photovoltaic (PV) power system at their home or business. The tool provides an estimate of the PV system’s annual energy savings result based on a reasonable expectation of performance for an individual system. It also helps users size their PV system based on constraints such as maximum budget or available space.
Smart Solar Savings uses NREL’s PVWatts® calculator to estimate performance of PV systems. Estimated cost information is based on information from California Solar Statistics for systems installed in 2013-2014.
Native applications for iOS and Android devices are currently in development.
