Carlsbad and Pasadena, CA – January 1, 2010 — Southern California Edison Co. (SCE) has established a nonresidential calculated incentive program to provide information, design assistance and financial incentives for customers who adopt energy efficiency practices and equipment. As customers reduce electrical energy use, fossil-fueled power plants burn less fuel thus reducing their carbon emissions.
SCE has awarded Alternative Energy Systems Consulting, Inc. (AESC) a $ 4.25 million contract to continue to provide the following:
- Engineering reviews of proposed customer energy efficiency measures
- Documentation of customer measure installations, and
- Detailed plans for verifying energy savings at customer sites.
