San Diego, CA – November 14, 2012 — The California Energy Commission (CEC) announced today that it has approved funding to a team led by Alternative Energy Systems Consulting, Inc. (AESC) of Carlsbad CA for electric vehicle (EV) charging related projects at the University of California in San Diego (UCSD). The funded project will result in the installation of five RWE Level 2 eStation Smart Systems, each consisting of two charging outlets for a total of 10 charging outlets to be used in parking structures on the campus of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
